Description
Midas HUB4 Monitor System Hub with 4 PoE Ports for Personal Mixers
Feature-packed Personal Monitoring Hub
The MIDAS HUB4 supplies PoE remote power for up to four DP48 personal mixers and compatible stage boxes. This personal monitoring hub includes AES50 connectivity for daisy-chaining hubs or stage boxes with 48 bidirectional channels of 24-bit/48kHz audio, as well as 16 analog outputs for sending personal stereo mixes to IEM transmitters. The HUB4 can receive channel names and group assignments from compatible consoles. You can also connect and power MIDAS stage boxes, while personal mix outputs can be monitored via AES50 upstream to connected consoles. The HUB4 supports remote control forwarding of a personal mixer from another, while a StageCONNECT port outputs 32 channels of low-latency audio via a single XLR cable. The MIDAS HUB4 offers remote operation via Cat 5e cable, and features a universal switch-mode power supply, durable Neutrik etherCON ports, and a rugged, road-worthy chassis.
Loaded with powerful connectivity
The MIDAS HUB4 comes loaded with powerful connectivity, making it the ultimate live sound multitool. This monitor hub supplies up to four DP48 personal monitor mixers with PoE (Power over Ethernet), as well as 48 channels of 24-bit/48kHz audio. The HUB4 can also receive 48 channels of upstream audio and forward it to a console, either from stage boxes connected via AES50, or eight return channels from each of the four PoE ports. You can also daisy-chain HUB4s to add additional DP48 ports to your system. What’s more, 16 balanced line-level outputs can carry the eight stereo mixes from the connected DP48s for connections in the side rack — no need to run additional lines from the personal mixers to the transmitters.
StageCONNECT supplies 32 channel of audio over a single XLR cable
Thanks to the MIDAS HUB4’s StageCONNECT port, you can output 32 channels of uncompressed PCM audio at 24-bit/48kHz quality with an unprecedented 0.5ms of latency. Did we mention that you can do this over a single XLR cable? At Sweetwater, we’re blown away by StageCONNECT. It not only transmits bidirectional, low-latency audio, it also permits the passage of control data and MIDI, as well as 18 watts of power, all over the same cable. Thanks to StageCONNECT, interfacing the HUB4 with personal monitoring or analog I/O boxes a breeze.
