Williams Sound FM T55 DLarge-Area Dual FM and Wi-Fi Base Transmitter with Dante

Integrating professional WaveCAST Wi-Fi® audio server technology into a Williams Sound FM assistive listening system, the FM T55 D is part of the Williams Sound FM+ lineup, and now allows end users to listen with either an FM receiver or with their own smartphone (via the WaveCAST Listening App). Along with this versatility comes exceptional audio quality, as the FM+ is built on a professional digital audio (DSP) platform. Furthermore, this particular model provides Dante™ audio compatibility for even more versatility and enhanced funtionality.

It’s designed to support those individuals who prefer to use their own smartphones and headphones for a more discreet assistive listening experience. Simplicity is also part of the package for those who desire a more traditional assistive listening system with a dedicated FM receiver and headset. There’s no longer a need for venues to choose between providing FM or Wi-Fi assistive listening systems. FM+ supports both the iOS and Android WaveCAST Apps—in addition to all of the current and legacy Williams Sound FM receivers operating on the 72-76 MHz bandwidth. Listeners easily select channel and volume level once their personal device is connected to the Wi-Fi network. Please note: the app does not work on FM Broadcasts.
