This Thunderbolt version of the PTZOptics Multi-Camera Production Kit with 30x-SDI Gen2 Camera   includes a Magewell 4x SDI Capture Card in an external enclosure designed to connect to a Windows PC via a Thunderbolt cable, which is supplied. Combine this kit with your own Windows PC, and you’ll have a complete PTZ live streaming and recording solution for use with popular streaming applications such as Wirecast, vMix, OBS, xSplit, Livestream Studio, and more.
Besides the Magewell card, the kit features the PTZOptics 30x-SDI Gen2 Live Streaming PTZ Camera along with an RS-232-compatible joystick controller and 100′ SDI and RS-232 cables. Connect the camera to the Magewell card to capture the camera’s 1080p60 SDI signal to your computer for streaming. The card offers four SDI ports, allowing you to add more cameras later for a multi-cam workflow.
Also included in the kit is the Shure MVi-LTG Audio Converter for connecting external audio to your computer for professional sound capture. The converter has a rugged all-metal design that’s highly suitable for mobile applications.
The kit additionally comes with a 6′ HDMI cable, a 6′ Mini DisplayPort to HDMI cable, and a wired keyboard and wired mouse, completing the system for easy setup and operation across various applications.
The 30X-SDI Gen 2 Live Streaming Broadcast Camera, in gray, from PTZOptics, features simultaneous 1080p 3G-SDI, HDMI, and IP streaming and offers a 30x optical zoom, which is suitable for large conferencing rooms and auditoriums. It also has a composite output that can be used on its own (without any of the other outputs concurrently) to deliver 576i/480i resolution. The camera streams up to 1080p60 resolution. When streaming over all three of the main outputs at the same time, you can select 1080p60 for SDI and HDMI while up to only 1080p30 for IP. Or you can select 1080p60 for IP and 1080p30 for SDI and HDMI.
The 30X-SDI Gen 2 can be powered over PoE or an included power supply. It offers RS-232 and RS-485 serial control, an audio line in for HDMI and IP streaming, and 10 presets via the included IR remote control or 255 via serial or IP control.
The HuddleCamHD HC-JOY-G3 3rd Generation Serial PTZ Joystick is a universal PTZ controller for any VISCA, Pelco-D, and Pelco-P protocol camera. You can control up to 255 cameras, with up to six assignable to “Quick Keys.”
This all-metal controller, designed robust to withstand the rigors of daily production, provides zero latency control over RS-232, RS-422, and RS-485 cabling. It does not require a connection to an Ethernet-based network. The maximum communication distance is 3937′ over RS-485 using a 24 AWG twisted pair cable.
The MVi from Shure is a single-channel, simple-to-use, digital interface for connecting microphones and instruments to Mac and Windows computers, as well as the range of iOS and Android devices. Simple and flexible, the unit features an XLR + 1/4″ TS combo input jack for microphones and instruments, five DSP presets, and a touch panel that allows real-time access to volume, gain and mode selection functions. Phantom power for condenser microphones, appropriate cabling, and a rugged all-metal construction make for reliable digital recording wherever needed.
HD-SDI cables are made for broadcasting a video signal from your camera to a video input such as a broadcast switcher or frame grabber. The HD-SDI male to male cables are made with Belden 1695A premium cabling.
